No, my dog’s name was Fritz – my mother named him Fritz. He was “pet quality,” but of championship stock on both sides.
However, his size (and his build) have
always made me wonder if there weren’t some other blood in his line, say, Bullmastiff or Dogue de Bordeaux.
In any event, he was a real “champion”
all the way – both in loyalty, and in intelligence, and he is STILL missed, although he died nearly half a century ago.,
